The 2026 schedule for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) in Gili Trawangan has officially been released, providing a comprehensive lineup of instructor training opportunities throughout the upcoming year. Conducted under the direct supervision of Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, the program continues to set a high standard for professional scuba instructor development across Indonesia and beyond.
Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan, the island’s first established PADI IDC Centre with over three decades of operational experience, will once again serve as the training venue. The course structure provides candidates with an in-depth understanding of PADI’s global teaching methodology, emphasizing both academic and practical elements of dive instruction.

- February 11–March 2 (Instructor Exam: Mar 3–4)

The Gili Trawangan IDC is recognized for its focus on developing the next generation of professional dive educators. With over 23 years of international diving experience, Course Director Holly Macleod has issued more than 3,500 PADI Instructor certifications and has consistently achieved Platinum PADI Course Director status for 13 consecutive years.
Each IDC program extends beyond the standard PADI curriculum, integrating experience-based teaching techniques and real-world application designed to strengthen the professional capabilities of future dive instructors.
