Moroccan rapper KLOPO (real name Attaoui Issam) “DFA3HA TRIB” the intro of the EP “KIDAR DE DAR” releases across all major streaming platforms, marking a defining moment in his artistic journey and signalling the arrival of one of the most uncompromising new voices in the Moroccan rap scene.
Born and raised in Rabat, KLOPO’s music is deeply rooted in personal experience, emotional truth, and street-level realism. Following the completion of his studies, the artist endured the tragic loss of a close friend, a figure who had consistently pushed him to pursue rap without compromise. That loss became a creative catalyst, shaping the emotional core of KIDAR DE DAR and infusing the project with resilience, vulnerability, and honesty.
Translated as “the black sheep of the family,” KIDAR DE DAR is both a personal manifesto and a cultural statement. Throughout the EP, KLOPO embraces his identity as an outsider, rejecting conformity and societal expectations while carving out his own lane. The project stands out for its dark atmospheres, sharp lyricism, and unfiltered storytelling, reflecting themes of loss, identity, pride, and resistance.
Alongside solo tracks, KIDAR DE DAR features collaborations with rising voices such as KIRA7, RAMBOO, and other rappers from Casablanca, adding contrast and depth to the project. The EP also revisits the long-standing tradition of lyrical confrontation in hip-hop, with KLOPO engaging in sharp, uncompromising exchanges that reference figures like FNAIRE, VIRA, DON BIGG and others. Framed as artistic dialogue rather than personal conflict, these moments reinforce the project’s commitment to authenticity, competition, and free expression.
Guided by his motto “DFE3HA TRIB,” KLOPO represents artistic independence and fearless self-expression. His raw delivery and emotionally charged writing position him as a voice for those often sidelined, the outsiders who refuse to dilute themselves to fit in.
“Kidar de Dar, that’s me,” says KLOPO. “It’s everyone who’s been pushed aside, everyone who refuses to please just to exist. This project is about owning that truth without apology.”

With KIDAR DE DAR, KLOPO delivers more than a debut EP. The project stands as a statement of intent, a personal story shaped by pain and pride, and a direct challenge to the current Moroccan rap landscape. As the culture continues to evolve, KLOPO emerges as an artist unafraid to speak his truth and to demand that real rap be heard again.
