LOS ANGELES, CA — October 22, 2025

Presence News founder Kasdyn Click recently made a visit to Los Angeles, California, marking another stop in his continued journey of exploring communities that shape the outlet’s expanding reach. Though Presence News already has a correspondent based in Los Angeles, Click said his visit was about gaining a firsthand understanding of the city’s pulse.

“Yeah, Los Angeles has been coming across the articles a lot in the news business,” Click explained. “We already have a reporter there on the ground that has been submitting content pretty regularly. But as an owner, I like to get a feeling of the community before reporting on something regularly — good to know what it’s like there and the community dynamics.”

Click described his first few days in Los Angeles as both eye-opening and unexpectedly challenging.

“The first couple of days in town was a little bit of a shock — not sure why either,” he said. “I’m used to traveling and being on the road a lot, but for some reason, I kind of lost my footing for a bit.”

Despite a rough start that included a bout of food poisoning or a high fever that kept him from attending a major fashion event, Click expressed deep gratitude toward the organizers who offered Presence News a press pass to cover a Lumiere Runway show during Los Angeles Fashion Week.

“I was super thankful that an organizer gave Presence News an official press pass to their runway show covering the fashion week,” Click added. “I was just so bummed I couldn’t make it to the event to meet them.”

While recuperating, Click said he’s been taking in the local energy, food, and weather — details that might seem small but reveal the texture of Los Angeles life that informs local reporting.

“The weather is different here for sure, the way people interact, and the fruit is so fresh — the grapes taste amazing here,” Click noted.

The visit underscores Presence News’ hands-on approach to understanding the communities it covers — not just from a digital or editorial perspective, but through genuine engagement and observation.

“Very grateful for the opportunity,” Click said. “There’s a lot to learn here — every city has its rhythm, and Los Angeles definitely has its own.”
