Korea Culture Game (KCG), a project that reinterprets traditional Korean games through a modern Web3 framework, is gaining fresh attention in the global market.
Behind KCG’s stability and unwavering strategic direction is the leadership of CEO Taehoon Kim, whose background is exceptionally rare in the Web3 and blockchain industry. Kim previously served as an officer at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety—one of Korea’s core central government ministries—before spending more than a decade as a Senior Chief Policy Aide in the Korean National Assembly, where he handled high-level policy, budgeting, and legislative affairs. His experience reflects a deep command of structured decision-making, risk management, and the coordination of complex stakeholder interests—qualities that are uncommon among Web3 project leaders.
Kim’s extensive work across multiple parliamentary committees has shaped a leadership style grounded in responsibility, thorough verification, and a strong sense of accountability. This approach has become a key factor enabling KCG to avoid unnecessary risks and maintain organizational stability as it grows. In a rapidly changing Web3 environment known for volatility, Kim’s background provides what many partners are now describing as a foundation of “predictable and reliable operational leadership.”
Leaders with substantial government policy experience rarely enter Web3, and Kim’s public-sector expertise has allowed KCG to operate with long-term balance rather than reacting impulsively to market hype or short-term trends. Those who have worked with him describe Kim as someone who “checks everything that must be checked” and “keeps the project grounded so it doesn’t sway with emotions or external noise.”
KCG is currently preparing an ecosystem expansion roadmap targeting the first half of 2026, focusing on global service stabilization and strengthening strategic partnerships. These foundational efforts are positioning KCG not as a short-lived crypto trend, but as a long-term platform built to sustain and grow its ecosystem over time.
