Paris, France – Local time December 8, 2025, the exhibition of outstanding works from the “Peaceful Homeland”UCA International Youth Art Creation Event, centered on the core theme of “peaceful coexistence,” officially opened at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France. As a UNESCO-endorsed program, this global youth art gala gathers creative works from young people across multiple countries and regions. With brushes as the medium and peace as the soul, it showcases nearly 1,000 artistic pieces full of childlike innocence and profound reflection, building a cross-border bridge for cultural dialogue and allowing the world to witness the younger generation’s sincere yearning for a peaceful home and their artistic expression.

Launched in 2019, the event has received enthusiastic responses from educational institutions and art academies in many countries worldwide, with remarkable growth particularly in China. Taking “peace” as the creative starting point, young creators explored three sub-themes – “Cultural Symbiosis,” “Harmony with Nature,” and “Human Empathy” – through diverse art forms including oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, mixed media, and digital art, depicting their ideal homes: Chinese youth used ink wash painting to outline the oriental artistic conception of “Great Harmony Under Heaven”; French youth employed color collages to present urban scenes of multicultural integration; Syrian youth conveyed their longing for the tranquility of their homeland through brushstrokes; Kenyan youth paid tribute to the harmony between nature and life with primitive totems… Each work is infused with children’s pure observations and deep care for the world, conveying the common aspiration of “promoting peace through art.”

“A young person is the future guardian of peace. These works break down barriers through artistic language, allowing the concept of peace to take root and germinate in creation and exchange – this is the core value of cultural exchange,” commented a professor from a French art academy. A French art critic praised enthusiastically: “Children’s creations do not rely on the accumulation of complex techniques, but resonate with the most direct emotional expression, enabling the audience to feel the cross-border power of empathy through colors and lines.”

The exhibition’s jury consists of international aesthetic education experts, contemporary artists, and representatives from peace-oriented public welfare organizations. Works were professionally evaluated based on three core criteria: “Relevance to the Theme,” “Artistic Expression,” and “Originality of Creativity.” Outstanding entries will be included in the “International Youth Peace Art Archive” and featured in global touring exhibitions. It is reported that the Paris special exhibition is expected to welcome over 10,000 visitors from around the world. Interactive experience zones such as a “Peace Message Wall” and an “Interactive Creation Area” have been set up at the venue, inviting the audience to participate in the dissemination of the peace concept while appreciating the works.

“We hope that through the universal language of art, young people will learn to view the world with understanding and respect, and safeguard peace with their creativity,” stated the event’s chief planner. He added that the organizers will continue to build an international platform for youth art exchange in the future, promoting global young people to build consensus on peace through cultural mutual learning and jointly depict a beautiful blueprint for a community with a shared future for mankind.
The Paris special exhibition of the “Peaceful Home” International Youth Art Creation Event is not only a concentrated display of young artists’ achievements but also a collective voice of global youth on the concept of peace. As artistic creations from diverse cultural backgrounds converge and collide in Paris, each work serves as an envoy of peace, injecting warm power from the younger generation into the building of a more inclusive and harmonious world.
