The official 2026 schedule for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) has been released, marking another significant year for professional scuba diving education in Indonesia. The program, conducted under the direct supervision of multiple industry award-winning Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, continues to represent one of the most established professional training pathways available within the global diving community.
Throughout 2026, ten separate IDC sessions will be conducted at Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan, the island’s first-ever established PADI IDC Centre. Each course provides comprehensive instructor-level preparation, combining practical and theoretical elements that align with current PADI standards.

- May 27–June 15 (Instructor Exam: Jun 16–17)
- July 1–20 (Instructor Exam: Jul 21–22)
- August 5–24 (Instructor Exam: Aug 25–26)
- September 9–28 (Instructor Exam: Sept 29–30)
- October 14–November 2 (Instructor Exam: Nov 3–4)
- November 18–December 7 (Instructor Exam: Dec 8–9)
The training, held at Blue Marlin Dive Gili Trawangan, benefits from over three decades of operational experience and an established reputation for professional scuba education excellence. Course Director Holly Macleod brings over 23 years of global diving experience and has issued more than 3,500 PADI Instructor certifications.
